With this mode, the algorithm controls the entry of the marker. However, the user intervenes in the trade management, either taking profits before the target (with our Button Box) or changing the StopLoss to Breakeven (entry point). The user can also limit the algorithm to buy or sell operations. You can disconnect the algorithm with the OFF mode. All the functions are in real-time and without restarting the strategy.
Yes. It all depends on your NinjaTrader license.
Backtesting does exist, but our strategy evaluation policy is not based on them. According to our judgment, backtesting does happen in ideal worlds and under the terms of market conditions. It contemplates neither slippage nor liquidity. All those facts have a lot of positive influence on backtests, which produce unreliable information.
Depending on the market conditions, there are many different alternatives. Hence, in the case of our algorithm, there is no unique way of configuring the strategy. Moreover, the backtest results would be changed when we use the Button Box.
